Is ESF comatible with 1.0?

Is ESF comatible with 1.0?
When I was starting the game,It crashed and stop..........
I can't play It in 1.0 version.............
I am not going to Download CS1.5 because it is very big.....
Because I use 56k.........The file will kill me....it blow my head off....>.<

P.S. What Should I Do~??
It said "sprites/voiceicon.spr not found"......>.<

hmm u can download esf beta 1.1 but not cs 1.5 ?

just go 2 fileplanet and set downloads for hl 1.1.1.0 and esf 1.1 . now u got 7 hours on your hands to do watever u want just downlaod them overnight

Just update you half-life to 1.1.1.0

Counter-Strike version 1.5 is the lastest mod version. But if you have the mod version, then you must have Half-Life, and that's what you use instead. The newest Half-Life version is 1.1.1.0.
I'm on dial-up too, I know how much it sucks, you're not alone.
Just download it overnight, or have a friend with a faster connection burn it onto a CD for you, if you can't download it yourself.
