help plz

hello all i installed half life i updated to 1.1.08 or sumthing last version then i installed ESF and when i try to go online it says its out of data or sumthing then it has to install sumthing so it asks use internet explorer but nothing happens then a screen comes and says i'm up to date so i go back to multiplayer and it still says Out of date plz help

You don't have the latest version of Half-Life installed. Install the 1.1.1.0 update for HL [ link ], and reinstall ESF as well (just to be on the safe side), and everything should start working.

The IE thing you experienced was when HL tried to auto-update to the latest version, but there are known bugs with that and updating manually is always better.

Requesting an s-mod/admin to move this to Newbie Central, this doesn't belong in ESF Chat.

well if it works thanks if doesent thanks tho lol i readed in other forums that u need cs i have it but i don't wanna install it
