Remove the periods, and insert a color you want, and it comes up looking like...<TABLE style=filter:glow(color=green, strength=#+1)>this.

cool, but i always wanted to know, how do you get the glowing text to move from right to left on the screen

To get the text to move, you use the <.MARQUEE> and <./MARQUEE> tags (remove the .'s). It can be added over top or inside of the table tags, I'd recommend the later.

Additionally:
The "HOW TO's" on both the features (glow / marquee) is easily available in the stickies.
