esf completely not working

i have a counter-strike retail version. running windows 2000

first of all when i try to install, it tries to install to some weird non-existant folder which i cannot find. the path follows C://Recycler
recycler is some folder i went looking around my comp for ages and had no hope of finding. at the end, i found it lying in my counter-strike folder BUT Only after i uninstalled.

so i reinstalled and thought i can find the folder there. i was wrong. the folder wasnt there after i reinstalled.

my question: where do i install ESF to ??!???

ok so i got it working, but when i try to play a game, it asks for some files, when i go to lan games, net games, etc, asks for a whole load of files

Does it ask You about a voiceicon.spr file ????
If so You can d/l it in this forum.
