Training with bots.

If you train with bots, it's best to enable fakelag.
You can use it by the following.

-Start up a lan game and choose a map.
-Type sv_cheats 1 in the console and type restart.
-Now the following imitates the pings.
fakelag 25 > 0 - 40 ping
fakelag 50 > 100 - 150
fakelag 100 > 200 - 300
- If you want to add packetloss to the game use:
fakeloss 1

Experiment with them. I use the fakelag in my training with bots, so you can get adapted to higher pings much easier by adding it.

Note: You can use this in 1 vs 1 to remove your 0 ping advantage in a lan game, making a 1 vs 1 more fair.

I've used this before, it's pretty fun. I just have one question..

- Will this work with an Internet Game?

If so, this will make it a lot easier and more fair for people dueling. I need to try that, I think i'll download those bots.

It'll work on Internet Games if the server you're playing on has sv_cheats enabled. Most don't, but if it is a listen server the host can change it with the console command then restart the server or load a new map and cheats will be enabled.
