are you doing steam

hey. since everything is bieng moved to steam is the new beta version going to be for steam as well. and is the beta 1.1 going to be put out for steam as well.

As far as I know, everything is gonna be steam in the future ...

Supposedly the Won ID system is going to be shut down so it does look as if we'll all have to switch if we are going to play online.

I already have steam on my computer, and after a long and arduous time I finally got it working.

And it actually works pretty well...thus far.

If you don't want to esf the steam way there are other possibilities.

There's a new server setup wich handles exactly like steam. Its main purpose was for the die hard 1.5 csers.

However I don't think that many esf servers will use this patch

so looks like there's no other way around and we eventually have to use steam

TO INSTALL ESF INTO STEAM:

Extract the ESF files into your c:\program files\steam\steamapps\[your -email adress]\half - life\ESF

same works for other mods
