do u have half life(1.1.1.0) and esf(1.1) updated?

that could be the problem, i recently reinstalled ESF on my friends computer and i tried to load a game but the same sort of error came up, i suggest, you try reinstalling?

although i think someone released a patch for this problem, can't rememeber where though
