client.dll problem - come here

look:
first, you need STEAM, the new 1.6 version of half life and counter strike
you can dowload it here:
http://www.computergames.ro/download.php?optiune=download&did=2023

now install ESF to "c:\program files\steam\steamapps\your email\half life\"

after you have steam and ESF installed, close and re-open steam, and then run ESF through steam.
if you see an error about the file client.dll, it means you need the file fmod.dll, and not client.dll!!!!!!

download the fmod.dll by right clicking on this link:
http://home.student.utwente.nl/h.vanwelbergen/fmod.dll
and selecting "save target as"

save the file to "c:\program files\steam\steamapps\your email\half life\"

now that you have the fmod.dll file - ESF MUST WORK!!!!
open it and see!
it can't fail unless your'e a total idiot!!

Well some people don't exactly want to use steam right now, you don't need steam for ESF, not until WON is down that is.
But nice info on how to get fmod.dll nonetheless
