TITLE:
Simple and logic: when you run out of Power in a ps - you beam is disattached

Explanations and why should be added:
it would solve the long PS problems that occures in ESF sometimes
and will make them shorter - more like the way the PL is in the
TVSHOW =>

EXAMPLES:
=> when they had PL as we do in ESF - they never did a very long PS...
one of the longest PS in those levels (and below) was the famouse
GOKU VS VEGETA: GG VS 4XKaioKenKHH (sure they were weak,
but IF the stream of their power flowing was as much as the char.s in ESF
then the PS would stop in less then a minute
and it is very logic - like you ran out of power so how can you push it?
you cant - so it is DeAttached!
goku was tired so the beam head pushed vegeta to space but he won the BS
when he reached the clowdes

=>when Buu pushed Gohan the same way
Goku pushed vegeta - /|\ - above!(only Buu had much more Power left lol)
he meant to lunch him to space - but shin exploded the beam so he wouldnt
be lunched to space
this example really isnt relevant cause those kind of DeAttaching has been
denide after Alpha   but it shows that these kinda stuff are possible

Too easiliy abusable. I could charge up a kame at Half-ki without having to worry about my opponent overpowering me before I detached, leaving your opponent stuck pushing the remains of the beam away. Just pretend they're draining their life force into the beam after their ki runs out (Redundant in real life, not so in Dragonball Z)

OK I can see your points!
well then I guess that the beam head of the looser is disappearing at once
and all of its future causeable damage is added to the beamhead of the winner!
so unlike DeAttaching - one player still has to PS slowly with the Energy... BEAMHEAD thing
in this case its DeAttaching it but the winner can gain
again the velocity of the beam that he had from the begining - b4 the PS!
got my point?
so now its not abuseable?
(Hint - End of The Special Movie Of DBZ - The Plan to Destroy The Saiyans
the hilderajen's Energy ball\ Beam head thingy
-well after overpowering it - it disappeared
-the monster couldnt tele\move\flee away from it cause
it gained its originaly speed now that it had no obstacles!!!)

it would cause much power abusing ... then the FinalFlash would become the best struggle beam ...

as you said ... when Vegeta was out of KI ... was he able to go away from the PS ???

PS' are good the way they are ... deattaching is only beam spamming ... in every way (look Piccolos SBC)

pic's SBC is attached in 1.2 - so I've heard
""

""
if he would regenerate his KI slowly in the show he would probably
be lanched out to space with Goku KaioKen4 KHH
but when he recovered a lil and got enough KI he released himself...

that's the reason he could run away before the PS got him ... that's the reason he could fly away without damage ...

once you're suggesting every PS should hit the loser and once PS doesn't damage the loser at all ... kinda crazy, isn't it ???

about the SBC ... read the outline ... it's in optional
