how come everyone else can get there console in ESF to work but i can't...

can some one help with me?

u push the ` button to the left of the no.1 and above the tab key and the commands are here(click me)

what ??? what do i do to start a game by my self in console...

console isn't made to create games ... it's just for cheats and several (server-, multiplayer- and client-) CVARs
to enable it
- put a -console in the HL shortcut
- in "config.cfg" there should be a line console "1"
- in "config.cfg" shouild be a line called bind "`" "toggleconsole"
- then press ` in game ... and a black box should scroll down ... welcome to the console

start a game with any tool or with the HL menu
