try setting high quality models off, or typing cl_himodels 0 in the console...

The funniest is if there's no model lock, try playing as trunks, then type in console "model vegeta" and vegeta will have trunk's sword action. Its so funny. He gets all stretched out like the skelton-character from "nightmare before christmas".
