hi ppl i have a problem if i start esf in steam it always says could'nt load library c:\steam\steamaps\[email protected]\half-life\esf\cl_dlls\client.dll
can some1 tell we what to do

do you have fmod.dll in C:\steam\steamaps\[email protected]\half-life ?
if not, copy it from the WON folder

yes i have that and i tryed reinstalled but stil doesnt work

it work yesterday and i downloadid sven co-op and the background thing for steam and now it doesnt work :S

I have the same problem...

k ppl i found whats wrong sven co-op and esf dont go togheter

=====steps to make it alright again=========

1. unninstall both
2. download esf version 1.0 and patch for 1.1
3. instal them
4. go play

It's a compatiility issue because of fmod.dll. Sven-Coop uses the new fmod and well, ESF doesn't. The fmod guys didn't make them backwards compatible which is why it make ESF (or any other older mods) go kaputz.

Use new.bat to use the newer DLL file top play SvenCoop and old.bat to play wth older mods.
