I just got PS7 is there a way to make a border, via filter or something

The way I make a border for say, a sig, for example is quite simple. Just make your signature, say 300x100 or something. And then when you're done, make a new image that's 302x102 and make it the color you want for your border.

Then just copy your sig and paste it on top. Instant border. There may be another way of doing this, but this is what I do.

ehm...

select the whole canvas of the image;. go to edit -> stroke.. select color and size of line... choose inside.. press ok...

you have urself a border (u might wanna do that on a new layer)

It isn't a filter......make a new image 10/10 and the bg white, then get your pencil tool and go up the left side and make a straight line for however big you want your grid to be. Then do the same thing on the top of it. after then do ctrl+a and do define as pattern. save it as something. Go to your image you want the grid on. do ctrl+a then go to edit...fill....and select your pattern you just made. And their you go...you can change the opacity to. And do all that on a new layer.

ok cool i will have to try that it would be easier just to make it a filter lol
