Hi... Um im new as you can see, but I have been putting skins and mods on my game for ages but I cant get this particular one to work (meaning : esf) I have half life, but im running counterstrike on steam... and the files dont say half life, they say counterstrike.

Anyway, When i try to load up ESF, i get some dialogue box saying something about a fatal erro. If it isnt saying that, it brings up counterstrike saying with the console, but it just looks like counter strike anyway...

what have i done wrong?

Have you installed Third Party Games before (CS, DOD, Ricocet, DMC, TFC are not Third Party).

Read this to find out how to install Third Party mods. Make sure it goes into your Half-Life folder (if it isn't there create it) instead of the counter-strike one (this is withing your email folder). But if you read the tutorial thoroughly then you should be fine .
