Install help...

hi, ive installed esf and whenever i click on the icon to play, all it does is start counter-strike and the console window... do i have to have half-life installed? or can i just have counter-strike installed.

i think you can funtion ESF using both game consoles due to the fact the are basically running of the same engine, as long as you can play lan/ online via the conterstrike start up, you dont need to worrie, if the game doesnt start up atal, try installing Half Life

Retail CounterStrike will allow you to play ESF.

If its taking you to the CounterStrike game when clicking ESF icon, just click "Custom Games" from the CS menu. Then find ESF and click "activate" and then "done" and that should get you into ESF. If its bringing you straight to CS after clicking the ESF icon, your target direction is messed up. you need to have '-game esf' in the target box after the short-cut link.
