Hey guys I need help

Sorry to bother you guys but I just played this game at the internet cafe i go to and I love it. I only have counterstrike but not half life, since i bought cs new like 2 weeks ago. I have version 1.6 and I was wondering if it would work with this because when I try to install it ( like 3 times ) it keeps giving me an error message. Can anyone help me? I appreciate it thank you.

its because you need to install half-life first and the the counter strike and the esf
but since you dont have half life it will give you the massage all the time

you need Half Life or the stand alone version of Counter strike Not both :S you say you bought CS so it should work properly....explain the error message and we might be able to help you further
