what should i get half life or steam?

Should i get steam or halflife cuz i tried steam and thers a lot of bugs or something but should i just buy halflife?

You need Half-Life for Steam because you need an HL CD-Key. But if you get Half-Life you get both WON and Steam. So I would suggest getting the Origional Half-Life.
