Work on grammar and spelling first, then try to establish a personal style of writing. The best way to establish your style is read . . . and read alot.

My preferred method of training is practice

If you really want to get good at writing fiction, do it.

Just sit down in front of your computer or a piece of paper and start writing a story, any story, go into as much depth as you think is necessary, for too much depth can kill the fluidity of a story. Balance you writings with detail and movement...and try to keep your grammar nice and neat.
