Frontpage-Explosions

What do you guys think of the new explosions? Doesn't necessarily look like the show, but they still look cool. ^_^

u guys u guys esf 1.2 is almost done and i mean almost done only a few bugs and tweeks 2 be fixed 4 the melee otherwise complete SO YAY YAY YAY

the explosions look more sleek and not boring like now, but i actually prefer the apha 2.0 explosions where light beams would come out from the ball.. those more sleek, only thing that bothers me is the smoke trail thing that happens after the flash

you can use it for hiding / tactics .... the new explosions are cool *i still would like to see a shockwave bubble -_-*

Keep in mind the 2.0 ones crashed the living hell outta servers ;P

same i realy cant wait tell its released and only in a matter of time like 2morrow or 2 days ... i cant WAIT!!!

They are great!! but i thought they where much bigger! maby that's because it's just a generic beam

hehehe.. actually.. these explosions are pretty neat..
they should be getting a lot better when we have our particle system
amazingly we dont have a particle system yet huh?

my question is do u need one of those dance mats to play advance melee....... like the arcade games

man u guys (the team and testers) must have so much fun just play 1.2 then showing of sum screen shots
(is 1.2 steam only cause my steam suxs balls)

yup i like the explosions very much...alot!!

The explosions look fantastic!
I have two questions though:
- Since there apparently aren't any ki bubbles, what happens when you pile ki blasts ontop of one another to "feed the fire"? Is there some new graphic that will facilitate the effect, or has that feature been removed?
- This is probably very obvious, but the when you charge a large attack, like the Final Flash or the Spirit Bomb, do the explosions look even more incredible?

Doubtlessly I can find out in a few weeks for myself, but I can't help my curiousity atm

yea those new explosions look pretty impressive. it ought to be interesting to see the explosion from a spirit bomb.
