ok . i know some of the new esf maps i gonna have 24-bit textures in 1.2 . i am wondering if they will slow down the frame rate in any way

yeah I usually run ESF at 1600x1200 with an average of 90fps
when I swoop use turbo small beams it goes to 80..
when I use 24bit textures it goes to 30/40
so it adds extra stress to your computer, but it's an option to use it so don't be to worried about it

hmmm..... no matter what rez i go on it sticks itself at 100fps . goes down to 50 sometimes . me uses a athlon 2400+ , 512mbddr333 memory , asus a7n8x-e mainboard , 40gig quantum ata100 drive , Gexcube 128mb ddr radeon 9600xt xtreme (2.5ns memory) blah blah. my framerates never fall below 50fps in esf
You're getting a bit too confident, your PC isn't good enough to experience no frame loss below 50 fps with everything turned on.SAIYAN_OVERLORD said:
