ESF Bot 4.0 Change list
· Bots are able to have different personalities. They will have the following things:
o A percent for every supported attack(for example: kiblast percent).
o A percent that a bot will explode a beam just before it will collide with their enemy.
o Teleport percent.
o Swoop percent.
o Fly percent.
o A percent that a bot will perform a combo instead of throw someone(1.2 melee stuff).
o A percent that a bot will kick someone while swooping(1.2 melee stuff).
o A aggression level; Defensive, Normal or Aggressive.
o Variabele to say if the bot is a transkiller or not.
o All chat percents
· Super bot settings like starting PL and Ki gain, can be changed in the file âsbot.cfgâ.
· Super bots can be transparent.
· Super bots will have some new weapons, like a laser to drain someoneâs pl.
· Fixed a bug for double named superbots.
· Lots of unneeded code is removed.
· Better attack choice system.
· Better danger reaction.
· Full 1.2 melee support.
· Bots can walljump.
· Improved navigation.
· Normal bots stay in team evil when a superbot is created.
· Mp_plcatchup cvar will now be restored when all superbots are kicked.
· Fixed a few crashing bugs.
· Tweaked code so there should be less lag now.
· Bots can predict their enemyâs position.
· Bots will explode their beam when thereâs danger.
· Frieza disc support.
· Bots will now have an aim speed(skill depended).
· New and better menu(commandmenu.txt). It will have most of the options of the old bot menu and ofcourse the new things.
· In the âoldâ menu, when creating a bot, you can now select his skill.
· Min_bots and max_bots variables can be changed in listenservers as well.
· Dedicated servers have a menu now to.
· New command; bot_help, this will show some bot help ingame.
· Bots can now use kame torpedoâs(although its a bit experimental).
· Fixed a bug for dedicated servers where messages werenât printed.
· Almost all console commands should work for dedicated servers as well.
· Bots can beamjump when they lost their enemy or when there is danger, when their beam is close(experimental).
· Bots will ârememberâ positions where an enemy has moved, to hunt.
· All bot files are now in an own folder.
· Bot personalities can be edited with a tool made by Nretep.
· Option to let bots balance teams.
· Removed auto pilot from the menuâs. Since theyâre kinda useless: they can only use kiblasts now :-\
· Bots will jump when their on the ground to avoid danger.
· Bots will fall down(when possible) to avoid danger.
· Bots will use a solar flare sometimes when they are in danger.
· New config file: skill.cfg; here you can change the aim speed and reaction delay for each skill.
· Candy attack support.
· Bots should be able to handle a MOTD now...
