My Steam question!

Ok steam? i have Half Life and CS 1.5 isntalled and ESF beta 1.1(no steam)
so if i DL steam ESF 1.1 I can play it ? or to i kneed Half life Steam and CS steam to??? and does ESF and ESF steam work on CS 1.6 to???

Any mod is "compatible" with Steam. Once you download Steam, get your account setup (so you can play CS 1.6 and DoD 1.1) to get everything up and running. Then I'd suggest installing Steam then getting the ESF Steam Installer from ESF-World. It's a very easy way to get ESF to Steam.

i downloaded steam, and when i click on it it says i need to choose a program to open it with. Did I do something wrong? does anybody know?
