Newbie who needs help!!!!

I have everything i need to play the game, but when i run it, it takes me back to my desktop. WTF is going on. I don't understand. I've been at it ALL DAY LONG and STILL come up with a new problem. All i wanna do is play some DBZ. Can anyone help me?

i have it but i want to test it. and it closes. On top of that when i click on the ESF shortcut again it don't run.

hmm... think some guys were talking about u needed some files when u used steam in order to play esf... u have to wait for some of those guys to reply then... cus i dont know becouse i dont use steam... sry

If u play on steam it's best to download the steam pack made by CS-land > http://www.esf-world.com has it in his file database. under misc i thought.

If that doesn't fix it we need some specs.

I don't use steam. I just uninstalled it.
Will it help me run the game so i can play?

well i never encountered problems when using normal HL (instead of steam) so it will probably help... if it still dont work make sure u got the latest HL version

i have HLP is that the latest?
