install help please

i cant install esf, it says the file Sierra\Halflife\hl.exe\autoexec.cfg cannot be found or something about disk space -
i have suffecient disk space and i have installed 1.1 before but 1.2 dont work what am i doing wrong please help- i really wanna play

the installer is corrupted. dont download from the octagon servers, those are corrupt. i downloaded it 2 times before i realized this. so i just downloaded it from another mirror and it worked.

i just downloaded it from oz files and it says something about that it couldnt find the cfg.i just deleted the hl.exe at the end of installation directory and it worked without problems!
