I need a walkthorugh to install 1.2 for WON

I've tried a couple things but still can't get 1.2 to work on WON, evertime I install, and I try to play, it keeps searching for steam.exe, I used to have steam but lost my account, plus I can't use the CD-key, if anyone can help me thanks, if not, I got some other things to say later

ESF 1.2 is designed to work on steam. It wasn't tested on WON and no help for WON is really available. Use steam.
