using a controller in ESF

how do I get a controller to work in ESF, as I have a USB PS2 controller hooked up to my PC and it works well with other games but not for ESF anyone know how to get it to work?

anyone know or is this s Steam people question?

I use one put I had to configure it outside of steam, does the controller have any kind of scripting options? I used a script with my controler (its an n64 controller using this thing called adaptiod, am using this script that lets the analog stick act as a mouse. Its working pretty damn good so far.)

cool I just use the left analog for movement and right for mouse look so it works out good but now if I could only get it working, so what you mean set it up outside of steam? like thru the controlls thing .cfg file (that file that has what button is bound to what) if so what do I put ?

doesn't the usb you have come with software?

Using a controller in 1.2 would gimp you in so many ways that (infinite + 1) would be a minute fraction of the exact count. Don't do it.

no it is a plug and play device so it did not come with any software
