Counter-strike (A question, IS ESF related)

Hey, I was wondering if ESF works with counter-strike. My friend has it and He can't get ESF to work, so if it does work with counter-strike, HOW DO YOU MAKE IT WORK!?

They don't support/help people who use the old WON style of gaming, use Steam.

You would install it to the cstrike folder just as you would to the halflife folder. Then activate the mod or whatever, or use a shortcut. Something like this maybe:
c/sierra/cstrike/cs.exe -game esf
I dunno, I use steam.

None of those things work, and yes he is using steam, it still dosnt work. I guess im gonna go over and fix it
