A complete newbie question about EVM

hi

at home i have ESF 1.1, and esf bots v3.1

im just curious, at home i dont have the internet so i download all my mods from my mates house and i want to download EVM

but theres 2 versions

EVM Client pack
and
EVM Server Pack??

which one should i get?? i dont know??

Client, server pack is for making servers..

when i download it , it comes in zip form?? and theres no liblist.gam file or anything just a phew models and sounds, it says just extract it to esf folder and it should run.

ok so that i dont make any mistakes,

is there any sorta tool i need for EVM to work a command i need to type anywhere like in the liblist.gam file or anything??
