Why are you playing 1.1? The beta1.2 client was released roughly a week ago. Yes, 1.1 melee was very simple and boring. But 1.2 has a completly redone melee system. Its a huge improvement over the previous 1.1 melee.

It is possible in 1.1 to do some sort of combos. Try to hit an enemy again when he has not recovered yet or when he bounces of a wall or the ceiling. There should be 4 hit combos possible but very hard to get. Try to download the 1.2 if possible it is worth the time.

If you wish to continue 1.1, I will teach you combos. If you can get 1.2, go for it, but then you will switch back due to the bordom.
