ok here when u use steam open your game.cfg (in your esf folder/directory what ever) and change mp_gamemode from 0 or 1 to 2

i understand what you said, but get longer threads to get more posts. 6 words arent much.
the way to get db's in the maps is to get 1.1 maps saved, and then copy them into your maps folder in 1.2.
try esf_guru, esf_afm, and esf_lavapit, those maps should do the trick.

CTDB mode isn't fully completely yet. It's set to be in 1.3 last I checked. Not all maps have dragon balls set in them so follow assaf's instructions if you want to get a few.
