Question - Third ban after 2 weeks...Answer please

Okay i was just reading "New Acceptable Use Policy revision" If someone is banned for a 3rd time, and they were really a threat just extremley annoying, why would you terminate their internet connection? that's just friggin retarded, plus u got no right to do that. sorry if im not understanding this correctly.

Our forums, our rules. You dont like it then leave. Why are you so worried... are you planning on getting banned 3 times? Do not couse trouble and you will be fine.

If you violate the AUP 3 times,

An Admin from this forum will call your Internet Service Providor (I'd assume by WHOIS'ing your IP, which is logged) and tell them that they're doing malicious activities, etc,

And if what you did is a violation of the terms of service with your ISP, and esforces.com gives them proof, they'll cut off your ISP Connection and cancel your service.

It's well within their 'rights.'

That statment was so untaught out. With you ip I (me) can find out were u live and your ISP.

If you hacking in a game then yes you might loose it, but if ur just an annoying person spammere here and there i highly doubt urISP will cancel ur connection.

No i just think thats friggin retarded, you didn't answer my question though, if the person is being harmless, and just down right annoying, theres no reason for isp being disconnected, i just think its dumb... stuffl ike this angers me

hmmmm, thats actually quite severe... i dont like it... but hey if they're violating terms of service i suppose you cant argue.

Your ISP only gets disconnected if you are messing with the forums, damaging them by hacking or putting spam bots on them. If you are just a **** wit like FM was (banned 7 times) your ISP wont get disconnected.

To handle this with some more tact, malicious users who attempt to damage the board, webserver, or gameservers of ESF or post blatantly illegal material (Porn in a place where children frequent, Child Porn, Warez etc) are given more than acceptable warning that we will use such extreme measures.
