Uhm... Im not too sure about this, but I was wondering...

Isnt the proper way of requesting a sig, is to PM a sig-maker and ask for one?

Again, Im just wondering, because really it just seems as if this is a race to who can get the first sig done... And thats bad, because then you dont put as much time in the sig as you mightv if you had more time :\

Well, making a thread usually means that youre asking anybody to make one. If you ask in a pm, they usually wont (depending on the person) So if you leave it open to whomever wants to make one, then it gets done faster.

I put the same ammount of time and work when I make one for a request thread, as if I'm making one for myself...
