I like the first one, its nice. The second is just kinda stupid... too plain and too unmeaningful.

I like the effect they have both, but they are to empty for my taste, too much unused space.

on the first one........on the pic do this

duplicate the layer -> Filter -> Noise -> Median and set it to 5 or something. then change the layer mode to soft light or overlay
