disc doesn't do damage on trees

1. alway's explane what you want.
2. discs doesn't explode ,they cut.
they cant distroy a tree, they can only cut a tree down.

They can probably make it cut tree's. If anyone has ever played the mod "the specialist" they made things breakable then respawn again. Like the glass on windows after you break it, few seconds later the glass comes back, they also done it with many other objects. This would be a cool feature if ESF added this.

It's the realism and thought that always counts. That's what made it as interestin as Mortal Kombat. You can probably try that with a rock pillar too (when Krillin tried to use the disk to cut of Oozaru Vegeta's tail, he jumped and the disk chopped the rock pillar on where Gohan was standing).

it would be kewl, if you shoot a disk at a tree and it breajs, im always shooting rocks and trees etc, it would be also kewl wat ever you shoot with beams, breaks thats in the maps by disk. but yea i was wondering why the disk didnt cut it in half, also guttard

i have seen some thing that can be in.

when you cut a char and it only hits the hip, you can continu living but can't stant anymore.
just like when freeza cuts his self in half :D
you can only move by flying

and about the trees, wy not animating it so they can be cutted but after being cut, the upper part disapear so it doesn't get in your way.
and the mountains can't be cut but the disk go's trow the mounians, better to code and better to do.

the thing you're discussing it terrain damage/ destrucable maps
this doesn't suit the HL engine ... so we won't implement it

be happy that you can blow up trees ... this just works because they are an entinity of the map ... they're models ... and if you destroy them they just disappear from map

"The Specialists" ... they use it ... do they also have such a huge fov ? (field of view) (can you see as much of the map as in ESF at once ?)
breakable objects in HL drop fps as hell ... so it's nothing for ESF
