need help

when i try to open the esf shortcut on my desktop it says windows is searching for steam.exe but im not useing steam and it doesnt work

f you are using a shortcut:

Rightclick on the shortcut, and In the Start In box, write Csierra\half-life (Your hl directory)

In the target box, put the path to your hl.exe file *in the above example, it would be Csierra\half-life\hl.exe)

You could have found this by searching the forum first, btw
