How many people still play 1.2

How many people still play 1.2 cause it gets bored afther a while :scared: (ps. gameplay could be a little better, like running citizens you can shoot ore bigger lvls anyway you decide)

I don't think you see ESF the same way others do.

Running citizens has been sugested before and rejected. It's a horrible idea. ESF is on the half life engine, and even if it wasn't, it would be a) be hard as hell to put in the game and b) lag.

Anyway, I voted for the last one, but you forgot to put a "No, I don't like/play 1.2" vote......

I gave up on it till the patch it's too easy and just not as fun..

No one follow this guy's mistake in this thread again. It's like saying "I don't play chess because it's too easy." It's all about your opponent. Unless you can beat everyone in every server in the entire world, you aren't allowed these bragging rights. Advanced melee may be easy, but there is more to 1.2 than that.

i dont play any more cause its not worth it...i hadnt played in 3 weeks...played it last night and i could still beat the hell out of every person in every server i went to...i shouldnt have scores like 120-20 after being gone for 3 wks...thats not how a game should work

WHere can i get Beta patch for esf 1.2.1

I am what you call the "being patient for a final and complete version" player, each version/patch I'll play for awhile... enjoy all the new features and notice all the bugs and then uninstall.

I love the game... don't get me wrong.

I still play ESF 1.2 when I'm bored and not busy downloading. Always fun to find some n00bs and kick their sorry asses into RTFM-land

Yeah, ESF 1.2 is starting to get boored, mostly playing ESF 1.1 with evm, there is atleast abit of action in, but i quited that too since the damn map is blown up every time :no:

I'm waiting for SOS, the sourece engine is suppose to make the whole map blowupable+ nice Healthe Energy system... ahh won't comercialise here... :warning:

Sorry guy's, but Advance meelee was good at the beginning, but after a while its get boored really, most now us now use teleporting and basic melee, maybe adv. melee sometimes for trowing of a good hit to finish someone off... :yes:

we need more gamemodes then just fighting, abit capture the flag or osmething would bring up the gameplay big time... (or capture the dragonballs).

Maybe in 1.4 or something far far further, you can add a Co-op mode, you knowp lay a simplem ission like fight the androids, or find them... litle thingy's

I'm in the same boat as Hwoarang when it comes to ESF. I'll wait for the final version. I play each new beta, hell I played 1.2 for 5 hours, straight the day it was released.

Its just not *fun* anymore. Once you get the hang of the new features, 90% of the fights are either:
A) You own them; or
B) They own you

Not worth my time to do either of those.

the more i'm playing esf, the more it get's borring.
i play bfp more and am also waiting until zeq2 is released, ofcours i'm waiting also for dbu, hood and some pleaple to join my mod

havent played since..damn! a long time. i played for a week straight when it came out but that was the last time i played it. whenever i open a server - no matter who comes in - i win, with a very high score so i stopped

well im playing it from time to time.its always fun to play with buddies over lan so you dont have to care about lag
so im still playing it im just waiting for SoS.

Since I got my Broadband connection I've been playing it quite a lot. Problem is, there aren't that many good European servers, and when I go on them I can beat a lot of the players pretty easily I want to fight the good people...

I dont play it any more, I do think it is too easy, sorry SB. Its just pressing arrow keys.. The old ESF took a little more skill imo. I havent played since 2 days after it came out. Its got way too repetitive. I personally expected more from 1.2, I expected some fast paced melee, especially with how fast 1.1 was.. Now, its just a down grade. Im also getting tired of the same charecters over and over, I hope the new charecters in 1.3 will spark my interest again. Sorry, this is just my opinion of course, I still repsect ESF and all they are doing for us.

And sonic, I think Zaku is entitled to his own opinion of the game. By telling someone that there opinion is bad its like telling them you must love something. Let him do what he does. You think of the game your way, he his way.

I also dont like 1.2 because, well, I play with buu, and I transfored once. This is wth like 14 donuts. You get pl fast, then you die once and you go back like 600 pl. It took me 4 hours to transform with buu. Come on, something is wrong here.

I haven't played it for quite a while now either :/

I liked it more than 1.1 at first, but it just didn't appeal to me as much now as 1.1 did when it had been out for just as long. Although 1.1 was much simpler, it was also much more adictive (this doesn't mean i'm saying it was better)
I'll still play it now and again, and will be eager to see what the patch and the next version brings.

1.) You did exactly what I told everyone not to do, which is basically tell everyone that 1.2 sucks because it's all advanced melee, when you and I and everyone else knows that isn't true. Comment on more than advanced melee, which is spend up in the patch.

2.) You are not entitled to an opinion which holds the single solitary purpose of putting everyone else who has a different opinion below you, because that's just silly. 1.2 isn't easy, that doesn't make sense, if you think it's easy you have only been playing new people or easy bots. It's an insult to the game when you say it's easy -_- and it doesn't make sense.


Guys stop calling 1.2 easy. That's like saying basketball is easy because you just dribble and shoot. Could you beat the lakers? No. If all you use is advanced melee you're just using the least popular part of the game, and that's a personal problem... please don't classify all of ESF as advanced melee because we all know it isn't.
