i need help badly

when i try to install esf it keeps sayin this c:\sierra\half-life\hl.exe\esf\autoexec.cfg' could not be opened. please check that your disk is not full and that you have access to the destination directory the system cannot find the path specified what do i need to do to get it to work

I've never really seen a problem like this, Go to your esf folder, see one of the .cfg's? Im to lazy to explain how to make one so copy and paste that, rename it to autoexec (Open it with notepad) and put this inside

r_mmx "1"
r_dynamic "0"
sv_cheats "0"
sv_lan "0"


//sv_cheats "1"
//dev_overview "1"

If that doesn't work, simply re-install esf..

Sounds like you either ran out of space on your computer when installing or what you need to do is goto your autoexec (if you can) then right click>properties and make sure it is set to read by all.

are you using WON? i think i got the same thing but used steam and then im good. so if you have steam just use that
