how about a fusion thingy for 1.3 like you could fus with a diff player and one guy controls the movment and one guy controls the beams and stuff

Ofcourse it could work! Has the HL engine ever let us down? It's just that the team says it's too much work...

Fusion between players is a terrible idea. Firstly, their will be tons of bugs, most of them too hard to get rid of. Second, the player spectating would be bored and probably leave, and then what would happen?

Again, people, you need to read the stickies before posting suggestions. :\

For god's sake, if I see another thread like this, I will go insane.
just think of perfect cell fusing with krillin and you get the problem.

dont look at it as HL engine cuz there is no sutch thing!!!
because half life is based on quake2 engine it is very old and i dont think it will be able to handle such thing very well
if it is possible it will be very buggy so again we must say no

Its very possible to pull off some kind of fusion. It doesnt involve any massively difficult coding on Pcjoe's or harSens part. Its very possible.

This is the 7th post since I strated counting and this isn't closed yet. As I said before, It is very possible and MP says the coding isn't much of a problem so what's the problem?

id say the problems would be balancing and who controls the character.

to solve the control problem just have a little "fusion struggle" and whoever wins gets the fused character and the other person dies or something convenient like that.

Yea, people would find something to complain about. Like, the fusion being too strong, fast, slow, weak. It would just take some sitting down and thinking of ways to make it work.
Ive seen dozens of people post ways of how fusion could work, so im not trying to promote you guys to post ways here. :]

I bilieve that when you fuse, that the other person (the one that is not playing) can open a new character, but when the fusion stops, the character disapears and become what he usualy was, plus, you should only be allowed to do fusions from the series!

That's good but that's also 2 fusions and only 1 is available yet.
I think that I found a good use for those ****ing arrows:
Everyone gets 6-8 arrows to press. Both players have to do atleast 4 arrows for the fusion to work. If both players do the same number of arrows then they will try again until they sucseed. If both players do ALL the arrows the fused char gets a PL boost and they try again.

what do you think?

y not just start off as the fused peaple u know in the player selection list or even better u can only get allready fused caritors<bad spelling> if u get enuff points or frags
and than the allready fused guys will be unlocked in the player screen only for the time the level is up onese the level finshed and changed the frags will need to be aqired agen
