Try this, duplicate it, set bottom layer to lighten or screen, top layer to soft light. mess with opac/fill a little and see if that makes it any better look for the picture.

one word: border....makes the edges of the sig "end" better then it just suddenly turns into the forum bg color =) for the rest it looks ok....7/10

i like them nice, what about differant images tho? i like the second one you edited with the brighter image

I think the brighter one is much better, but the other one is pretty decent too. Good job for your first sig with brushes.
