undetectable?

How about if your on the groud not using any of your ki at all (not shooting beam, floating, turbo is off, etc...) you dont appear on anyone's scouter, thats how it happened in DBZ twards the middle. this could help bring out surprise attacks and such

Yah. That could work. Since flying only uses so much of your KI a second, you should only appear on the scouter every so often, but if you're turboing, firing an attack, etc, you'll be lit like Time's Square.

but remember Goku and them could make it so their not detected on a scouter?

yes, but they would litterally lower their pl to do that, so if it were in the game, you would be considerably weaker, and if you manage to find and kill someone who was hiding, there wouldnt be much gain.
