because won is shuttingdown will esf be only available for steam because i only have one copy of halfife and i always play lan and to play lan on steam you need it on both computers.which means i and most of us will have to buy loads of copies.

everyone who plays hl should have its own copy.
although it should be possible to still play with "common" hl on lan eh? since lan doesnt require a won server to auth... right?

no, what iv been hearing is you can still play esf without the use of steam in lan games but you have to use steam to play on the internet :]
