Installing

Hi,
I just downloaded the 1.21 patch but i didnt have the one for WON, and when i try to install it in steam folder It says "ESF could not be found on selected destination. Please choose again. " I tried other folders but no luck

install in the half life foulder in your steam foulder

ive been doing that but i get that message. I tried to download that file from 2 places but the same thing happens

i cannot get it to work either...i cant figure out where to install it into...please help

Do you guys happen to have the beta 1.2 already installed? The patch is just and update to that so if you haven't gotten that installed you won't be able to get the update installed.

me too, i had it before but deleted it. Now i just went on website tahts all they got

Ehh, this may sound kinda dumb but do you have to install it into your steam HL folder?

Install it to C:\games\Steam\SteamApps\youremail\half-life\

The installer should pick that up.
