Game closes when I select a character

Joining a server brings up the character select screen, and then it jst crashes.

When I start my own server to play, I'm fine spectating mode, but again as soon as I select a character, it closes, also frieza seems to be only one with a class description. Neone help? plz?

I have XP, and a voodoo 3 for video, with drivers that I'm pretty sure are as up-2-date as possible. and DSL connection.

What else u need to know?

Have you tried reinstalling?
