Someone Explain Advanced Melee

Ok first of all congrats to esf team for an awesome game

now, i can do melee, that is i swoop at someone and button bash while holding the left mouse button. this is okay for the moment but i think it would be better if i had a clear understanding of how melee works

could someone explain what "prepunching" is, when it happens, how and when to do combos, etc etc

Goto your ESF Directory and open up the Manual. It will explain everything you need to know about advanced melee.

Yeah, it's actually pretty detailed compared to the old one.

is prepunching when the little bar with arrows appears at the bottom?

Prepunching is when you clash with the person and you start doing multiple punches to them. Then they are stunned and that is when you enter in the key combos (the arrows that appear in the upper left corner).

whats the bar at the bottom then?

That is your bar showing what arrows you are entering in.

Adv melee is very easy to understand. If you can't quite grasp the concept from the overly-detailed manual the team has made. Then simply go in-game and try it out yourself. You can only learn by doing.

Although most servers nowadays frown upon using Adv Melee...why? I don't know.
