HELP ME PLZ

Hi guys im new to this game i think its cool although i havent watched to show since like the 4th grade i still love the game 1 thing i hate though is im having a problem where when i use the fist attack and try to attack someone i cant attack nothing happens and i cant punch or anything i can just shoot fireballs and **** so plz someoen help me

i need to know how to fix it so i can punch and not get my ass kicked everytime

read the manual in my signature area

basically select the fist icon, and run into someone by double tapping and holding a directional button.
