Question about HL

alot of you know that i dont have half life so i was gonna buy it and c if i can dl mods
but i know that the one on steam is new version so i am not sure

because won shut down, what would you rather something that you can play online or only lan?

yet this pisses many people off because steam is not like won and doesnt accept keygenerator cd keys and they dont own hl

It was a pain in the ass to get my steamID up and running, even with legit copies. Fortunately, once I got it working well, it sucked too badly to use. Then about six months later I reinstalled it and again had a hard time getting it working right, but finally I finished, and now everything runs ten times better on it, so...they made a believer out of me.
