Regarding CS: Source fans

Well when I try to change my advance video settings in cs: source, the game crashes and boots me back to my desktop. Anyone else had this problem and fixed it?

My System is over the system requirements for the game, so i dont know why its crashing.

Well, I really don't care for CS, but..

Are you using DirectX 9.0c? (You should be)

Are you trying to activate a video feature your video card doesn't support? (You shouldn't be)

hmm. not sure at all since i've only played the demo.

have you tried asking on the www.steampowered.com forums?

yes i'm using 9.0c
and I'm sure my card can run on medium settings if it can run UT 2k4 at maximum quality.

happens to me, but only if i'm in a game when i make the changes, and its not because my graphics card isn't good enough/unsupported option, it happense when moving them lower, and when moving them back to suggested setting.

i cant adjust em at all. i cant turn em to low... high... whatever... it crashes
