ESF only launches Steam Browse Games

Hi, Im new here.

I tried installing ESF on steam, and it now shows up in my list of games under third party games, but upon double clicking on it, it doesnt launch the game, it just opens a window for Steam Browse Games, with the offers to buy HL and HL2 and stuff.
Can anyone please help me? Thanks.

have you registered a cdkey?

You MUST have a valid halflife cdkey to play esf!

well i had tht problem too. what u nned to do is get a half life generation cd-key then at browse games theres a little sign saying *register a product i already own then push tht then wright in the cd keythen u chosse what games u wnna play with steam then u chosee half life*the orange one* then after tht u install esf. then ur set to go

that all depends if the person has a legitimate cdkey or not
