Half Life Patch?

I have a small, yet annoying problem.
I have downloaded the latest patch (that I know of)
which is 1.1.1.0 something.
yet it keeps telling me my executable is out of date.
I also have the latest ESF.
and for any reason (that someone may gain knowledge and help me with my dilemma),
my system is:
AMD Athlon 64 3400+
Geforce 6 6800GT
1024MB DDR Ram.

if someone has the link to the latest patch that would help alot.
(I also have steam, but buggered if I can use the crappy piece of junk).

You need steam, Half-life's ingame multiplayer has been terminated by Valve a while ago and replaced it with Steam: www.steampowered.com

I have Steam. the fact still remains. how do I get the latest stuff, or even Play A Multiplayer game using steam? (I am registered and stuff) and even get ESF to show up in the multiplayer List?

have you registered your cdkey to steam?

download the ESF 1.2 and the ESF 1.2.1 patch and it should show up and yes a cdkey would help make it become white instead of gray then open up servers change filters to esf uncheck all then bam u got ur self a list of esf servers to go and play in
