Ok, here's how this thread will go down. Post random facts from random anime series'. But don't post anything stupid like "This person was a man" or stupid crap like that. The facts can be from any series. But don't post a fact that was already posted by someone. I'll start it off, so everybody will know the form to post in:

Series: Hellsing
Fact: Alucard's name spelled backwards is Dracula.

Male characters who are early teenagers in anime series are generally played by females - since the voice is supposed to convey innocence.

Anime: Wicked City
Fact: Was made into a Live Action Hong Kong movie.

Please, post only one fact. And are you sure about that? Alucard just seems right because of his name spelled backwards.

Series: Hellsing
Fact: In episode 13, Alucard was revealed to really be Dracula.

Hellsing

13 episodes because 13 is generally a bad number, it has connotations with bad luck and misfortune as well as superstition. The only bad thing is that it screwed us out of a good ending (I wanted to see the FREAK chip manufacturers get eaten :()

Naruto

Kakashi means 'Scarecrow', which is fitting because a scarecrow is an imitation of a human, and Kakashi imitates his enemies with his Sharingan.

Just thought i'd post this before this entire thread becomes: "spot which anime guy is voiced by a female"

Fact: almost all pre teen to early teen male characters in anime are played by women with deeper than normal voices. not only is it easier to find experienced voice actors but their voice is deep enough for a character to be a teenager, but still too high to be an adult.

some examples:
Shinji - Neon Genesis Evangelion
Full Metal Alchemist - Both Al and Edward

Actually during japanese translation the R becomes an L and vise-versa. Examples: Kulilin = Krillin (DBZ), Malik = Marik (Yugioh), Zoro = Zolo (One Piece) and quite possibly if a horrible dubbing company gets ahold of Naruto and could be translated to "Naluto"

Just like the Mitsubishi Starion (It was supposed to be Stallion)

Anime Fact:
The drift king Keiichi Tsuchiya was the technical advisor for the Initial D series and has taught the actors of the live action Initial D movie his drifting techniques.
